Why? IX

As has been laid out in these articles, there was a world here before Adam. God judged that world because of the sin of Lucifer. Trying to compare the flood of Lucifer and the flood of Noah is night and day. Lucifer made it clear that he wanted to be "like the most high". This got him into big trouble and the result was complete judgement and removal from his position.

To regain his position, he would have to take the proverbial "keys to the kingdom" from Adam. He duped Eve, hence Adam, and he was back in charge. Jesus, A.K.A. God, came in the form of a man to take the keys back. Which brings us back to our original question. "If Satan was defeated at the cross, then why does he continue?"

The redemption of man was accomplished on the cross. The redemption of the earth will occur in Revelation. Keep in mind that the ground was cursed as well. Since this is the case, Satan wants to keep the world and continue to rule it. Even when Jesus was confronted by Satan in the three recorded temptations, He never said, "you don't have the authority to do that". Why? Because Satan did have the authority to give Jesus all the kingdoms of the world. Jesus took the keys back by doing it God's way.

Because the completion of the redemption process of the earth will take place at the Second Coming, Satan has time to do something. What is that something? He has time to annihilate the Jews and prevent them from calling upon their savior.

Hosea 5:15, "I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early."

This is the key to Satan's plan. If there are no Jews to call out to Jesus, then He will now return. From Hayman to Hitler, many have tried to do away with the Jewish people. The final battles will all be for the very same purpose. The late night oil burns throughout the world trying to figure out what to do with Israel. From the Muslim nations who hate them to the "christian" nations that are supposed to support them, everyone councils about Israel. For a place the size of New Jersey with no real exports to have of a world class value, haven't you wondered why they are so important and why so many hate them?

The Great Tribulation is called the time of Jacob's trouble.

Jeremiah 30:7, "Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it."

The whole point of The Great Tribulation is to drive Israel against the wall to make them cry out to their savior. Which brings us back to our question, "If Satan was defeated at the cross, why does he continue?"

Understanding the world before Adam is crucial in this to understand the mindset and motives of Lucifer, now Satan.

To fully grasp the entire Bible, you have to understand the players. When you can comprehend that everything created has a purpose. This includes a person, place, or thing. You have a purpose. Until you find that purpose in Christ, you will be unfulfilled. Lucifer is our example of using your existence for something outside of your purpose. This is real. It is not a show in Hollywood. Lucifer fell and it is clearly written.

The next time someone asks you why Satan continues if he has been defeated at the cross, now you can answer them Biblically. Amen!
